About this site
The Cyber Shujaa Project is a youth-centric initiative that is passionately driven and generously funded by a consortium of esteemed organizations, including Serianu Limited, the Kenya Bankers Association (KBA), United States International University - Africa (USIU-A), and the Challenge Fund for Youth Employment (CFYE) based in the Netherlands. Over the past six years, our dedicated team has been immersed in a range of research activities aimed at identifying and understanding the existing gaps within the ICT and Cybersecurity sector in Africa.
Our mission with the Cyber Shujaa program is to address these identified challenges head-on. Our approach is rooted in continuous market and industry analysis to understand the evolving ICT talent needs. Based on these insights, we design practical curriculums tailored to meet these needs, conduct rigorous training for our participants, and facilitate their successful placement within the market.
Our consortium plays a vital role in the successful execution of the Cyber Shujaa program. The Kenya Bankers Association contributes valuable market intelligence that informs our curriculum development. USIU Africa, on the other hand, takes the lead in designing the curriculum, ensuring that the needs and interests of the youth remain at the core of our program. Serianu Limited, with its technical expertise, provides the technical training and immersion, equipping our participants with the necessary skills to thrive in the ICT and Cybersecurity sector.
Join us on this exciting journey as we continue to empower the youth, bridging the gap in Africa's ICT and Cybersecurity sector, one training at a time.
